Since many libraries are using the "One World, Many Stories" theme for summer reading this year, I thought I would share a#flannelfriday idea that fits this theme. It's "The Great, Big, Enormous Turnip" from
The Flannelboard Storytelling Book by Judy Sierra. It's a traditional Russian tale about a group of people and animals who band together to unearth a giant turnip and is an awesome one for group participation! The kids really get into "he PULLED and he PULLED and he PULLED!"
